April 13, 2013 - Boil Order is Lifted

Friday's water sample also tested clear, the boil order is no longer in effect.  We appreciate your patience and understanding during the last several days.

April 12, 2013 - Boil Order Update

Thursday's water sample tested clear.  We will have the test results for Friday's sample tomorrow (Saturday).  If it also tests clear we will lift the boil order.

April 11, 2013 - Boil Order Update

The water main break was fixed late this morning.  Water pressure will increase throughout the afternoon and evening as the water towers fill.  The boil order is still in effect until at least Saturday, April 13th pending water quality test results.  Any water used for cooking or drinking should be boiled for at least 3-5 minutes to be safe.  Water can be safely used for bathing and washing without boiling.  

April 11, 2013 - Boil Order

Due to a water main break the City of Lawson is under a boil order until at least Saturday, April 13th.  Residents will experience extremely low water pressure until the break is fixed and the water towers have had time to refill.
